Learn to paint a rose with oil paint!
This is an in-depth tutorial designed to teach you everything you need to know about oil painting. Join a small group of 10 people maximum to receive personal guidance and direction from a full-time artist. Learn essential principles of oil painting by painting an Australian Landscape. These principles can be used for any other painting that you wish to paint in the future.
What you will learn:
- Basics of materials and equipment
- Principles of colour
- Color mixing and colour recipes
- Brush strokes and blending techniques
- How to make an under-painting
Everything you need is provided:
- Canvas
- Easel
- Art Spectrum Professional oil paint
- Professional paint brushes
- Palette knife for mixing paint
- Mixing palette
- Disposable apron

What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your booking up to 3 days (72 hours) before the class begins and request to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with in 72 hours of your booking you will receive a credit to reschedule at a later date. Cancelations must be done prior to session start time. Cancelation can be done via email: ashleybuntingstudio@gmail.com
What do I need to bring?
Everything you need is provided! Please BYO drinks
What should I wear?
Oil paint is very difficult to get out of clothing, so please wear something that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. Disposable aprons will be provided.
What can I expect during the session?
You will be greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbles upon arrival as the artist takes down your name for your booking. Please BYO drinks, glassware will be provided. Once everyone has arrived, the artist will guide the group, step to step, to create your own oil painting artwork.
