Angelique- unruly and beautiful with her magenta curls. I am continually inspired to paint feminine subjects and to capture both bold and graceful characteristics through the artwork. This artwork is an expressive piece, and I paid special attention to the texture of the brushstrokes. I used a coarse brush and a cross-hatch motion which created a subtle texture.
